A fast air-fryer method for finishing a thick, already-seared pork chop to a juicy 145F without overcooking the crust. Rest it briefly and, if you like, spoon over the quick Dijon-maple pan sauce.
Jump to recipePreheat: Heat the air fryer to 350°F for 3-5 minutes.
Prepare: Pat the pre-seared chop dry. Season lightly; the seared exterior may already be well seasoned.
Air fry: Cook for 12-16 minutes total, flipping after 6-8 minutes.
Check early: Begin checking the center with an instant-read thermometer at 10-12 minutes. Insert from the side into the thickest part, avoiding the bone.
Pull and rest: Remove at 140-143°F and rest 5-10 minutes. Carryover heat should bring it close to 145°F.
