Silky bourbon mellows the brightness of black tea while fresh peaches and a hint of peach preserves create a sophisticated, fruit-forward sweetness that's balanced by tart lemon. This sip brings together Southern tradition and grown-up indulgence in one refreshing glass. Perfect for summer entertaining or an elegant evening wind-down.
Jump to recipeBring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until completely dissolved.
Add sliced peaches to the hot tea mixture and let steep for 30 minutes to infuse peach flavor.
Strain the tea mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing peaches to extract maximum flavor. Discard solids.
Stir in remaining 4 cups of cold water, bourbon, lemon juice, and peach preserves until well combined.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to chill completely and allow flavors to meld.
Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with fresh peach slices, mint sprigs, and lemon wedges.
