Ingredients
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp rose water
- Few saffron strands
- Chopped pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Mix milk powder, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and ghee in a bowl.
- Gradually add milk and knead to form a soft, smooth dough.
- Divide the dough and roll into small, crack-free balls.
- Prepare the syrup by boiling sugar and water together for 5 minutes.
- Add rose water and saffron strands to the syrup and set aside.
- Heat oil for deep frying over low heat.
- Fry the balls on low heat, stirring gently, until golden brown all over.
- Remove the fried balls and immediately soak them in the warm syrup for 30 minutes.
