Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, cumin, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a kadai or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft and slightly charred.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they break down and release their juices.
- Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
