- 4-5 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 6-8 fresh basil leaves
- 2 oz premium vodka
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 oz simple syrup
- 2-3 oz club soda
- Ice cubes
- 1 fresh strawberry for garnish
- 1 basil sprig for garnish
- Lemon wheel for garnish
Instructions
- Add the halved strawberries and basil leaves to a rocks glass.
- Using a muddler, gently muddle the strawberries and basil until the fruit is broken down and the basil is fragrant, about 10-15 seconds.
- Add ice cubes to fill the glass about halfway.
- Pour the vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup over the ice.
- Stir gently with a bar spoon for 10 seconds to combine all ingredients.
