Ingredients
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 4 oz fresh orange juice
- 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 orange slice for garnish
- 1 maraschino cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the tequila over the ice.
- Slowly add the orange juice, pouring gently to avoid mixing too vigorously.
- Hold a bar spoon against the inside of the glass near the bottom and slowly pour the grenadine over the back of the spoon, allowing it to sink to the bottom and create the sunrise effect.
- Garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.
- Serve immediately with a straw, advising to stir before drinking to blend the flavors.
