A fast air-fryer method for a single sea bass fillet, tender and moist inside with a light lemony finish in under 10 minutes. Easy weeknight fish for one.
Jump to recipePreheat Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for about 3 minutes.
Prepare the fish Pat the sea bass dry. Rub lightly with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
Air fry Place the fish in the basket skin-side down, if skin-on. Cook without flipping for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
Check doneness The fish should flake easily and remain moist in the center. For a tender restaurant-style result, remove it around 130-135°F; for a more fully cooked texture, take it to 140-145°F.
Finish Squeeze lemon over the fish and finish with a small drizzle of olive oil or melted butter. For extra browning, raise the heat to 400°F for the final 1-2 minutes.
