- 1 loaf French bread, cut into ¼-inch slices
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil (for brushing bread)
- 8 roma tomatoes, diced
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 oz Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush bread slices on both sides lightly with 1 tbsp olive oil and place on a large baking sheet.
- Toast bread until golden, about 5 to 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
