Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1 sugar cube or 1/2 tsp simple syrup
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 orange peel
- 1 large ice cube or sphere
- 1 maraschino cherry (optional)
Instructions
- Place sugar cube in an Old Fashioned glass and saturate with bitters.
- Add a splash of water and muddle the sugar cube until dissolved.
- Fill the glass with one large ice cube or sphere.
- Pour whiskey over the ice and stir gently for 30 seconds.
