Suya Spiced Beef Skewers

- 2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, finely ground
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

In a bowl, combine ground peanuts, ginger, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to make the suya spice blend.

Pat beef cubes dry and thread onto soaked skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces.

Brush beef skewers with vegetable oil on all sides.

Generously coat the beef with the suya spice blend, pressing gently to ensure spices adhere well.

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Grill skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.

Cook until beef reaches desired doneness and develops a nice crust.
